ASTANA. October 7. KAZINFORM Today Vice President of "Executive Direction of the Organizing Committee of the VII Winter Asian Games 2011" JSC Serik Kalmurzayev has made a report within the framework of the General Assembly of the United Nations World Tourism Organization in the palace of Independence. As is known, the VII Winter Asian Games will be held in Astana and Almaty cities from January 30 till February 6, 2011. S.Kalmurzayev noted that holding such event will give an impulse to development of Astana and Almaty. In particular, the state invests funds in the infrastructure development, and it creates conditions for the tourism sphere development in the future. According to him, 70 percent sport facilities of the upcoming games are put into commission. Besides, all facilities will be used after the competitions. S.Kalmurzayev emphasized that funds for the construction are allocated from the national and local budgets. "At present a special hospitality programme is under elaboration and it is designed for those tourists, who will come here as sports fans", S.Kalmurzayev said.
