KAZINFORM A meeting of Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov with Chairman of "CITIC Group" Kong Dan has been held today in Beijing, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Kazakh Prime Minister. A range of issues on cooperation of the Kazakh companies with the Chinese Investment Corporation and joint implementation of investment projects were discussed at the meeting. In particular, the issues of establishment of a joint enterprise on production of road bitumen at the Aktau plastic plant were negotiated. According to the CITIC Group's Head, all preparatory works are planned to be accomplished in 2009 and the construction of the plant will be finished by the end of 2010. K.Massimov appreciated the initiatives of the Chinese corporation and expressed interest of Kazakhstan in further execution of projects, equally profitable for both countries.
