Draft law on Kazakh content to support domestic producer - Vice Minister of Industry & Trade
ASTANA. October 22. KAZINFORM. /Serik Sabekov/ A draft law "On amendments to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the issues of the Kazakhstani content" has been presented in the Majilis today.
"Currently we see a heavy decline in the Kazakhstani content, particularly engineering technique, metals, mineral products and textile. The draft law is aimed at promoting Kazakhstan's production", Kazakh Vice Minister of Industry and Trade Yerkhat Yeskaliyev noted.
According to him, the concept of the bill is to create conditions for development of competitive productions, goods and services through maximal use of the domestic market potential. One of today's challenges is the creation of a single information space uniting the demands from customers and supply by our producers.
The document foresees administrative responsibility for violation of legislation on the Kazakhstani content.
