Kazakhstan has brought in USD 95 bln of foreign investments over independence years - President
ANKARA. October 22. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ Over the years of independence Kazakhstan has brought in USD 95 bln of foreign investments, Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev announced addressing the Turkish Parliament.
The President also informed that in nine years per capita GDP in the republic had risen from USD 700 to USD 8, 500. "We have built a new capital in ten years. All of these years Kazakhs. Today Turkey's economy ranks the 17th in the world and the 6th - in Europe", Nazarbayev said.
According to the Kazakh Leader, Kazakhstan investments in Turkey make USD 4 bln while Turkish ones make USD 1 bln. 1, 400 joint enterprises are functioning in Kazakhstan to date. "These results are quite positive however our potential is not limited", the President stressed.
