ASTANA. October 28. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Deputies of the Kazakh Majilis (Lower House of the Kazakh Parliament) have approved draft Law "On ratification of the Convention between Kazakhstan and Japan on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of tax avoidance in regard to revenue-based levy and Protocol to the Convention" Wednesday. According to Kazakh Minister of Finance Bolat Zhamishev, each of the treaty countries provides the taxpayers with an opportunity to pay tax only once - in on of the treaty countries. The other state provides the taxpayer with an offsetting to the paid up sum of the tax or excludes from the taxable gross income that part that was already taxed in other state.
