Bank TuranAlem wants to penetrate Azeri market soon
ALMATY. April 11. KAZINFORM. Kazakhstan's Bank TuranAlem (BTA) intends to penetrate Azerbaijan's banking market.
The bank management board chairman Roman Solodchenko told that the BTA is not represented only in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in the CIS region.
As of January 1, the BTA group's assets reached $16.3 billion and aggregate capital $2 billion.
The bank intends to increase its assets to $50 billion by 2015 through consolidating assets in the CIS states, Kazinform refers to Today.Az.
BTA Finance group includes leasing and mortgage companies, pension fund and other financial institutions. BTA outlet covers Ukraine, Russia, Georgia and Armenia and it has offices in China, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and the United Arab Emirates.
Bank TuranAlen is shareholder of BTA-Silk Road Bank in Georgia.
