ASTANA. November 11. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Majilis (Lower House of the Kazakh Parliament) discussed amendments introduced by the Senate to the draft Law "On amendments to the Customs Code of Kazakhstan". The draft Law is designed in order to bring the Customs legislation of Kazakhstan in line with the main provisions of the Agreement on application of Article VII of the General Agreement on tariffs and trade of 1994. As Deputy Kurmangali Uali noted, the amendments introduced by the Senate are of specifying character and don't change the concept of the draft Law. The Majilismen agreed with the amendments of the Senators. The Law was adopted.
