KZT 53.9bln pumped into housing and utilities infrastructure within Road Map
ASTANA. November 16. KAZINFORM. As of November 5, 2009, KZT 53.9 billion was budgeted into repair, reconstruction and development of housing and utilities infrastructure within the framework of Road Map state program. The funds were given from the national budget (KZT 38 billion) and local budget (KZT 15.9 billion); Kazinform has learnt from the Kazakh Agency for Construction and Housing and Communal Services.
In whole it is planned to allocate KZT 60.7 billion in this direction in 2009, including KZT 42.9 billion from the national budget and KZT 17.8 billion from the local one.
According to the local executive bodies, KZT 52 billion that is 97% of the total amount of the allocated funds was utilized. Out of 851 projects 351 were fully finished. Among them are 90 projects on water supply, 100 - on heat supply, 17 - on power supply, 7 - on gas supply and 122 - on provision of amenities. 81,000 new jobs were created. 78,600 people were employed. The major part of projects (324) is realized in South Kazakhstan region.
