Kazakh PM urged to regulate fuel and lubricants market
ASTANA. November 16. KAZINFORM. /Serik Sabekov/ In the context of the Kazakh President's commissions Prime Minister Karim Massimov has set three tasks before the Cabinet on regulation of the fuel and lubricants market.
Speaking at today's telephone conference the Premier defined three tasks: a short-term, a medium-term and a long-term one.
He said that by 2014 Kazakhstan would fully supply the domestic market with oil products including gasoline, jet fuel and bitumen.
"The second task is to determine the directions of work in terms of creation of the Customs Union and deficit of oil products output on the territory of Kazakhstan for 2010-2014. K. Massimov urged the Cabinet to submit the proposals on the first two tasks until the end of the year.
The third task is a short-term one. "We have to implement the commissions of given by the President within the framework of the direct line held on November 13", Mr. Massimov told Energy and Mineral Resources Sauat Mynbayev.
