Experts discussed prospects of Customs Union
ALMATY. November 25. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ Experts have discussed prospects of establishment of the Customs Union at the international scientific-practicial conference "Customs Union of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan: Relies and Prospects" held in Almaty today.
According to Advisor of the Belarusian Embassy in Kazakhstan Valery Zdanovich, the main purpose of the Union is to establish unhindered transportation of goods within the frameworks of the single customs territory, excluding application of tariff, technical and other barriers in mutual trade.
As the Advisor noted, the state function on resolution of these issues is handed over to the Commission of the Customs Union - single permanent functioning authority.
"To date a range of sessions has been held, where over a hundred decisions on provision of beginning of the functioning of the Union were taken. The sides negotiated a set of measures on single customs regulation of the foreign trade", the representatives of the Belarusian Embassy informed.
