ALMATY. December 10. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ First meeting of the ministers of finance and heads of central banks of the SCO member states was held in Almaty on December 8-9. Topical issues and prospects of cooperation in the financial sphere were discussed at the meeting. Head of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Grigory Marchenko has said it today in Almaty. The participants of the meeting complimented the timeliness of the approved and executed by the SCO member states measures on global financial and economic crisis overcoming that promoted stabilization of their economies and financial systems. The finance ministers and heads of central banks stressed the necessity of further exchange of information on anti-crisis measures, adopted at the national level and coordination of efforts on crisis overcoming. The participants agreed to activate work on practical realization of the earlier achieved agreements in the financial sphere within the action plan on implementation of the Program of multilateral trade-economic cooperation of the SCO member states.
