KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Today within the conference on development of agro-industrial complex Prime Minister Karim Massimov drew the participants' attention to the situation on the Russian beef market. "The Russian Federation consumes beef to the sum of USD 3 bln per year. The beef is traditionally imported from the Latin America. This is the market our agricultural producers can invest in and supply their products to it", the Premier said. According to Massimov he had discussed this issue within his visit to Saint Petersburg last week. The Russian side agreed to let Kazakhstan supply its agricultural products if they complied with all sanitary norms. In this view, the PM stressed necessity of giving special attention to farm consolidation and veterinary control.
