ASTANA. 21.12.2009. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ Draft National Customs Code will be developed by February 2010. Until July 1, 2010 Kazakhstan will act in accordance with the current rules. "The Ministry of Economy proposes to finish development of the draft document by February 2010", Vice Chairman of the Customs Control Committee of the Ministry of Finances Igor Ten said at a briefing after the presentation of the Customs Union's Code. "The Code of the Customs Union will enter into force since July 1, 2010. But we would like to adopt our national customs code which will be adapted to the Customs Union's Code", I. Ten said. He also added that his Committee would receive all propositions from state bodies and businessmen regarding development of the Customs Union's Code by yearend. "We will be grateful for any suggestions", he noted.
