Vilnius offers Kazakhstan to build oil terminal in Lithuania

Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov has received Petras Vaitiekunas, the Foreign Affairs Minister of the Republic of Lithuania, today in the Astana Ukimet Uyi, the PM’s press service reports.» Nowadays, Lithuania is the perspective economic partner of Kazakhstan», the PM underlined.
Significance of the economic cooperation with Lithuania is determined by the well-developed transit-transport infrastructure, perspectives of the safe delivery of the energy and other export products of Kazakhstan to the European Union market.
Petras Vaitiekunas, in his turn, underlined that Kazakhstan is an important economic partner of Lithuania.
«We are interested in the Kazakh investments and signing of long-term agreements. We offer Kazakhstan to build its oil and petroleum products terminal and a net of gasoline service stations in Lithuania», the Lithuanian FM said.
