KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ The loan portfolio of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan made USD 2 bln at the end of 2009; Chairman of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan Gali Iskaliyev has said it today at the extended session of the Kazakh Ministry of Industry and Trade. "Over 90% of the portfolio structure covers investment projects", he said. The head of the Bank also noted that the Bank intends to approve new investment projects amounted to over USD 3 bln and allocate USD 1.4 bln in 2010. Summing up the results of the Bank's activity G. Iskaliyev stressed that 51 investment projects were launched with the participation of the Bank's investments whereas 29 investment projects were launched with the participation of 'BRK-Leasing' investments. "Over 18 thousand jobs were created at these enterprises whereas its output production amounted to USD 1.5 bln", he added.
