ASTANA. 27.01.2010. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Kazakhstan has produced 78.4 bln kWh of electric energy in 2009. President of KEGOC JSC Almassadam Satkaliyev has announced at the briefing. "Electric power consumption in 2009 made up 77.9 bln kWh. The crisis impact on reduction of electric energy consumption is being held countrywide from the end of 2008", A.Satkaliyev said. He noted that during 10 months of 2009 there was negative dynamics, but in November there was increase by 8.6 percent against the similar period in 2008. According to A.Satkaliyev, it is connected with increase in industrial production in the yearend. The positive tendency is maintained in January, 2010, which allows to forecast electric energy consumption in the volume of 82.2 bln kWh in 2010. Electric energy production will increase by 7.1 percent.
