ArcelorMittal Kazakhstan JSC explains reasons of stopping construction of metallurgical plant in Temirtau

ASTANA. 25.02.2010. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Today at a press conference Director General of ArcelorMittal Kazakhstan JSC Frank Pannier explained the reasons of stopping construction of a new metallurgical plant in the town of Temirtau. "I am often asked about our plans regarding construction of a new metallurgical plant in Temirtau. My answer has not changed. The market feels instability yet and there is not enough demand in steel to date", he said. Alongside, the press service of the Company informs that ArcelorMittal Kazakhstan has set to negotiations with Tau-Ken Samruk National Ore Mining Company JSC on the issue of search for additional profitable deposits.
