Kazakh Government to launch housing savings program
ASTANA. 09.03.2010. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ The Kazakh Government intends to launch a housing construction scheme with use of funds of depositors of "Zhilstroisberbank" Kazakh Prime minister Karim Massimov has made it public at the telephone conference of the Government today.
According to Chairman of the Kazakh Agency on Construction and Housing and Utilities Infrastructure Serik Nokin, within the scheme the bank forms a pool of depositors willing to buy housing on particular price and comfort class.
He also noted that the scheme was supported by regional akimats. "In order to implement the decision of the Council for Economic Policy as of March 2, 2010 the Agency started realization of projects on construction and sale of housing through this system in Astana and Almaty cities and Aktobe region", S.Nokin said.
