Nazarbayev met heads of delegations of EurAsEC member states

Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev met the heads of delegations of EurAsEC member states, the agency reports referring to the president's press service. During the meeting with participation of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Michael Fradkov, the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Almasbek Atambayev, the Prime Minister of Tajikistan Akil Akilov, the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Rustam Azimov, Vice Prime Minister of Belarus Andrey Kobyakov, and the EurAsEC Secretary General Grigory Rapota discussed the questions of multilateral cooperation within EurAsEC, prospects of development of the organization and the issue of formation of the legal base of the Customs Union. "The main objective is formation of the legal base of the Customs Union. This objective has been set by the leaders of EurAsEC member states in Sochi in August 2006," Rapota said at the briefing for journalists.
