GDP in agro-industrial complex to rise 16% in five years of industrialization program
ASTANA. 19.03.2010. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ The GDP in the country's agro-industrial complex will be increased by 16% within five years industrialization program. Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture Yevgeny Aman has said it at the III Forum of German Investors in Astana today.
"We suppose the five year industrialization program will allow raising GDP in agro-industrial complex by 16% while labor productive is expected to rise twofold. The internal market is planned to be provided with home-produced goods by 80%", Y. Aman said.
According to him, by the end of implementation of the industrialization program the budgetary funds allotted for this aim will make up to KZT 485 bln while today this figure comprises KZT 228 bln.
"We think, agro-industrial complex can become a locomotive for ensuring employment and food security in the country", the Ministry's Executive Secretary stressed.
