After the meeting John Watson informed journalists that he told the Kazakh leader about the work of TengizChevroil Joint Venture. "Last year Tengiz reached record oil output. This year we expect the same index. I also noted successful activities of TengizChevroil on environmental protection. We talked about our mutual interest in the project for future expansion at Tengiz deposit, which is possible due to the commitment of N. Nazarbayev to the stability of contracts", J. Watson said.
