Ambassador Danenov took part in ground-breaking ceremony of Kazakh-French JV
BRUSSELS. 19.04.2010. KAZINFORM /Dimash Syzdykov/ Kazakh Ambassador Nurlan Danenov took part in the foundation stone laying ceremony of the new Kazakh-French joint metallurgical enterprise UKAD in France; the Kazakh Embassy in France told Kazinform.
The enterprise was established as per the agreements between the presidents of Kazakhstan and France on joint development of titanium production and Agreement as of June 2008 between Ust-Kamenogorsk Titanium Magnesium Plant and French companies Aubert & Duval (A&D) and Airbus on establishing a production of spare parts for the aerospace industry of France. The production will start in 2011.
Making a speech during the ceremony N. Danenov congratulated the regional and local administration as well as management of the companies on the event. He stressed the new joint venture would enable to create new jobs both in France and Kazakhstan, ensure technology transfer, raise competitiveness of the participating companies. The expansion of such joint ventures is the purpose of Kazakh-French strategic partnership, efforts of the presidents and governments of the two states and "Path to Europe" State Program of Kazakhstan.
