Almaty. April 19. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan presidency in OSCE can speed up the work of the organization. The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev said at the VI Eurasian Media Forum in Almaty. "Our vision and initiative could promote activization of the activity of the organization on a number of perspective directions from the point of view of consciousness of our region, sharing the experience of tolerance and peaceful co-existence of different religions in one state and in one society," the President emphasized. N. Nazarbayev reminded that Kazakhstan put forward the application for presidency in OSCE. "For the first time such an application was put forward from the Republic of the former USSR and this proposal was put forward from all CIS states, the states that represent the extensive part of Asia, from Kazakhstan, the state representing major Central Asian region and playing growing role in the sphere of energy safety," the President noted.
