PM charged Ministers of Oil and Gas, Environment to hold commission on oil extraction at Caspian Sea
ASTANA. 04.05.2010. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov has charged the Minister of Oil and Gas and the Minister of Environment Protection to hold a commission on oil extraction at Caspian Sea at the Governmental session today.
"A big tragedy has happened in the Gulf of Mexico connected with the collapse of a floating drilling platform of the British Petroleum Company. There exist many questions about the accident", the Premier said.
K.Massimov noted that it was a big tragedy for such a big country as the USA. In this regard, the Head of the Government charged the Ministers of Oil and Gas and Environment Protection to establish a working group and hold a commission on oil extraction at the Caspian Sea taking into consideration existing problems.
