Central Asian countries may create economic security zone: N. Nazarbayev

ALMATY. April 19. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ - «Central Asian countries may create a zone of the economic security which will be a safe barrier against the international terrorism, religious extremism, drug trafficking and illegal migration», Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev emphasized during the opening of the VI Eurasian Media Forum in Almaty today. Nursultan Nazarbayev underlined that Kazakhstan gains the lead in terms of volume of the investments in the region. «We are ready to realize the largest economic projects in Central Asia. Kazakhstan continually rendered a brotherhood economic, humanitarian assistance to the Governments of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. We have directed 400 tons of grocery wheat to the Afghan nation», the President said. According to the President, Kazakhstan elaborates a program including measures aimed at strengthening humanitarian and economical cooperation, infusing investment to the Afghan economy and training the personnel. In particular, the hospitals and schools are expected to be built in the two provinces of Afghanistan.
