Kazakhstan clearly defined 'niche' for investors - Vice PM A.Issekeshev
ALMATY. 03.06.2010. KAZINFORM /Rassul Bakhamov/ Kazakhstan has clearly defined 'niche' for investors in the priority spheres and fields of economy. Kazakh Vice Prime Minister-Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev has announced at the IV Kazakhstan Investment Summit.
He noted that the State Program of Forced Industrial and Innovative Development is a five-year industrial plan and as President Nursultan Nazarbayev said at the Summit it highlights 12 priority fields.
The Government carried out serious analytical studies with attraction of international consultants in such industries like metallurgy, engineering, chemical industry and etc, A.Issekeshev said.
"We understand that we need to ensure advanced processing of raw materials which we are now producing and to develop commodity-related industries as well as industries that will initially focus on the domestic market with subsequent release of products for export. Master plans in every field are elaborated and we see that such 'niche' should be developed in Kazakhstan in the nearest five years", the Vice Premier noted.
The main thing for Kazakhstan's economy is to ensure production manufacture with higher added value. There were defined sections for investors in the priority fields and spheres, and on other directions there were also created various impetuses for foreign companies' activity
