Tax base for corporate income taxes for R&D projects implementation to be reduced - K. Bishimbayev
ASTANA. 07.06.2010. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Tax base for corporate income taxes for implementation of R&D (research and development) projects will be reduced. Vice Minister of Economic Development and Trade Kuandyk Bishimbayev informed of it taking a floor at Astana invest-2010 I International Investment Forum today.
"The corporate income tax has been reduced from 30% to 20%, the value added tax has been cut from 13% to 12%. The income tax for individuals has makes around 10%", K. Bishimbayev noted informing of the advantages of tax regime in Kazakhstan compared to other CU member countries.
According to him, while implementing R&D projects the tax base for corporate income tax will be reduced by 150% from all expenses for their implementation.
