Kazakhstan likely to increase oil supplies to Europe - Nazarbayev
BRUSSELS. 26.10.2010. KAZINFORM /Dimash Syzdykov/ Kazakhstan plans to increase oil supplies to Europe. President Nursultan Nazarbayev made it public following the meeting with Acting Prime Minister of Belgium Yves Leterme.
According to the Kazakh President, the European Union is the main trade partner of Kazakhstan. "Kazakhstan supplies 20% of oil consumed by the European Union", he noted.
N. Nazarbayev thanked Mr. Leterme, as Chairman of the EU, for the support of Kazakhstan's intention to sign new agreement on advanced partnership with the European Union and enter the World Trade Organization.
The Head of the State also expressed gratitude to the Belgian Premier for agreeing to take part in the OSCE Summit in Astana
