Kazakhstan may finalize WTO accession talks by yearend
01 July 2014, ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Negotiations on Kazakhstan's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) are coming to an end, according to Vice Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Timur Zhaksylykov.
"Some issues are still left on the agenda, but they are likely to be solved by yearend," Mr. Zhaksylykov said.
"We've finalized the bilateral negotiations on access of products and services to the market with 30 countries. Corresponding protocols have been signed," he noted addressing the 10th session of the Berlin Eurasian Club themed Kazakhstan's accession to the WTO and implementation of FIID program: cooperation with Germany in Astana.
