On September 20-22 in Almaty the main event of 2017 in the mining sector – the Central Asian International Mining Exploration and Mining Equipment Exhibition - MiningWorld Central Asia 2017 will be held.

The best domestic and world manufacturers will present all the most effective technologies, modern equipment and machinery for the development and modernization of the mining industry. The event will be attended by leading specialists, managers and owners of the largest enterprises, representatives of the public sector of the mining industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other countries.

Every year the event gathers a record number of participants. The organisers note a 25% increase in the exposition of MiningWorld Central Asia in 2017. About 300 companies from 25 countries around the world - the leading manufacturers and distributors of equipment, technologies and services for mining and processing complexes, including Aramine, Caterpillar, CFT Group, Dressta, Weir, MetsoMinerals, FLSMidth, Sandvik, Atlas Copco, Thrane, Outotec, Thyssenkrupp, Uralmash, Drobmash, Belaz and many others confirmed their participation.

The Association of British Mining Equipment Companies (ABMEC) will take part in the exhibition for the first time. In addition, the Canadian companies will present their national group along with an extensive exposition of machine builders from Germany, Poland, Norway, Finland and China.

In addition to the exposition component, the event will present an extensive business program on the most topical issues of the industry. In the framework of the exhibition it is planned to hold thematic round tables, presentations and seminars, at which various technical issues, as well as prospects for cooperation and investment projects will be discussed.

The development of Kazakhstan’s economy today is unthinkable without international business cooperation, implying not only the flow of foreign investments, but also the transfer of the latest technologies, learning world experience. And in this respect strengthening of economic ties with the leading industrial powers plays an invaluable role.

Thus, the Department for International Trade of the British Embassy will present the mechanisms for cooperation in the mining sector in the framework of Industrialization 4.0. The British companies successfully work in Kazakhstan and invest in the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, providing advanced technology and developing the experience and skills of their employees.

The South African Embassy will hold a presentation of the mining equipment companies, which will be attended by the Ambassador of the South African Embassy to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Keitumetsi Seipelo Thandeka Matthews.

We would like to remind that last year the main topics of the talks between the representatives of the Republic of South Africa and the Republic of Kazakhstan in the framework of the exhibition’s business program were the prospects for partnership between the two countries in the mining and metallurgical industry, as well as the increase in minerals extracted in South Africa and attracting investors.

In addition, the business program will include the meeting of the Mining Club, the main task of which is to develop professional relations and expand business contacts among mining specialists, to discuss hot topics in an informal atmosphere and exchange experience between companies in the development and management of mining operations.

Another significant event in the upcoming exhibition is the presentation of the World Mining Congress (WMC), which will be held in Astana from 19 to 22 June 2018 and located at the site of EXPO-2017. Along with WMC, MiningWorld Central Asia is changing its location next year and will deploy its exposition within the Congress. The presentation will take place on September 22 at 12:00 at the outdoor area of the pavilion 9C.

In parallel with MiningWorld Central Asia the specialized exhibitions of equal significance: the 14th Kazakhstan International Exhibition “Road and Heavy Construction, Communal Machinery” - Kazcomak 2017 and the 3rd Kazakhstan International Exhibition “Technologies and Equipment for Metalworking” - Metaltech 2017 will be held.

The constant organisers of the events are Kazakhstan company Iteca together with the international partners: ITE Group Plc (UK), GIMA (Germany), EUF (Turkey), ITE China (China), ITE Poland (Poland), ITE Asia Pacific (Malaysia).
