Kazakhstan GDP grew by 10.3 % for I quarter of 2007
Astana. April 24. Kazakhstan Today - The Kazakhstan GDP for the first quarter of 2007 compared to the similar period of last year has grown by 10.3 %. The Kazakhstan Prime Minister informed at the government session, the agency reports.
"The parameters of social and economic development of the Republic for the first quarter of 2007 demonstrate positive dynamics, GDP for the first quarter of 2007 in relation to the similar period of last year grew by 10.3 %," K. Masimov said at the government session.
"Industrial output in the first quarter grew by 9.6%, the total agricultural production - by 3.7 %, volume of investments into fixed capital - by 7.1 %. Foreign trade turnover only for two months of this year (January - February) has increased by more than 50 % and reached $10.5 billion," K. Masimov said.
