KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ - “ A technical-economic assessment of the Korgas – Zhetygen railroad line construction will be worked out on June 1, 2007”, Transport and Communications Minister of Kazakhstan Serik Akhmetov said.Its length is 296 km. The value of the project makes KZT 41 bln. It is planned to begin its construction on February 20, 2008, and complete on March 1, 2011. Korgas – Zhetygen railroad line will let open the second border point of the railway crossover with China and increase transportations by 25 mln tons cargos per year.
