Six transport-logistical centers to be created in Kazakhstan by 2012
Astana. May 3. Kazakhstan Today - Six transport-logistical centers will be created in Kazakhstan by 2012, the Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic Serik Akhmetov informed on Wednesday at the government session, the Transport Ministry press service informed the agency.
"The Ministry of Transport and Communications plans the creation of six transport-logistical centers till August, 2012 in Horgos, Almaty, Taraz, Shymkent, Kyzylorda and Aktobe," S. Akhmetov informed.
"As a whole, the market of transport-logistical services in Kazakhstan today is developed insufficiently. Creation of highly effective network of transport-logistical centers is the independent project of the industry," the Minister said.
According to the Transport Minister, the transport-logistical center - the element of modern transportation technology is intended for rendering services to consumers on the juncture "transport - industrial production - trade."
