Creation of Central Asian Union not be reflected on sovereignty of countries
Bishkek. May 4. Kazakhstan Today - Creation of the union of Central Asian states will not affect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republics joining the structure. The Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan Umarzak Uzbekov said at the press conference in Bishkek on Thursday, the agency reports.
According to the diplomat, after the creation of the uniform economic space it will be necessary to form the customs and then the currency unions.
In his opinion, the impulse to formation of the union of the Central Asian states will give the Highest interstate council of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan created during the recent N. Nazarbayev's official visit to Bishkek.
As it was informed earlier, during the visit of N. Nazarbayev to Bishkek the President of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev supported the initiative of the Kazakhstan leader on creation of the union of the Central Asian states. He encouraged not waiting for the consent of the leaders of other countries of Central Asia to create the union, but begin with Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan union creation.
