State Commission chaired by Kazakh PM to determine key breakthrough projects
ASTANA. May 5. KAZINFORM - The regular session of the State Commission on modernization of the domestic economy chaired by Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov has been held in Astana today, Kazinform has learnt from the PM’s press service.
The attendees considered suggestions of the public bodies and national holdings regarding the breakthrough projects and discussed measures on public support of the projects.
188 projects amounting to USD 200 billion were submitted to the State Commission. “Currently, we are determining the key breakthrough projects in order to realize them in the near future”, Vice Prime Minister of the country Aslan Mussin said.
Summing up results of the session, Mr. Massimov ordered to introduce the provisional list of the breakthrough projects to the State Commission until May 11, 2007.
