Almaty welcomes 1st Middle Asian Kazakhstan-Hong Kong: Hong Kong IPO conference
ALMATY. May 11. KAZINFORM /Aigul Turysbekova/ - “A signing of an agreement between the Almaty regional financial center and Hong Kong Stock Exchange opens the new perspectives for our countries”, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov said during the Kazakhstan-Hong Kong: IPO in Hong Kong Central Asian Conference in Almaty today.
It is the first conference in Central Asia which is aimed at promotion of the Kazakh companies at the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
According to chairman of the Kazakh Agency regulating the activity of the Almaty regional financial center Arken Arystanov, Kazakhstan enjoys dynamic economic growth and it has a great potential in the future.
"The GDP growth is expected to reach USD 300 bln in 2015", he added.
