KAZINFORM /Nadezhda Ivanova/ - Aktau Sea Port special economic zone (SEZ) will be divided into sub-zones including Industrial city, Caspian shelf infrastructure development center, Transport-logistic center, Border trade center, SEZ directorate informs. Aktau Sea Port special economic zone has been operating since January 1, 2003. Aktau Sea Port is expanded from 227.1 to 982. 3 ha by the presidential decree as of February 7, 2007. Caspian shelf infrastructure development center sub-zone will occupy 225 hectares. The enterprises for main and auxiliary equipment production and repair of the oil – producing companies will be settled on its territory. Transport-logistic center and Border trade center will take 300 hectares.
