Almaty. May 23. Kazakhstan Today - The Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) will further support the initiatives of the UN regional commissions on realization of the Special Program of the United Nations Economic Commission for the Economies of Central Asia (SPECA). The EurAsEC Secretary General Grigory Rapota said today during the signing of the memorandum of mutual understanding between UN-ECE, UNESCAP and the Secretariat of the EurAsEC Integration Committee, the agency reports. Rapota noted that the regional commissions and the Secretariat of the EurAsEC Integration Committee are successfully developing cooperation within SPECA, especially in such areas, as rational use of water and energy resources in Central Asia, and simplification of trading and transport procedures.
