Astana. July 3. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev took part in the ceremony of the beginning of construction of new factories in Astana, the agency reports. Today the leader of the state laid the capsules in the foundation of three enterprises - manufacture of cars, manufacture of automobile tires and locomotive assembly factory on the territory of the industrial park of Astana. As it was informed earlier, planned capacity of the factory on manufacture of automobiles Nissan in Astana will make 30 thousand cars a year. $100 million is planned to be allocated for its construction. Capacity of the factory on manufacture of automobile tires will total 4 million items a year, not less than 50 % of production will be exported. Investments into the project will make $200 million, the first stage of the project is planned to start in the following year, the second - in 2010. Volume of investments into construction of locomotive assembly factory is expected at the level of $78 million, manufacture will be carried out on the basis of the American company General Electric technology, factory putting into operation is expected in the third quarter of next year.
