KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ - “The Government of Kazakhstan supports the development of the electric power industry of Kazakhstan”, head of the Kazakh Energy Grid Operating Company (KEGOC JSC) Kanat Bozumbayev said during his visit to Shu-500 electric power substation today. “This substation is a terminal point of North-South project. It unites the northern and southern regions of Kazakhstan”, he added. According to Kanat Bozumbayev, North-South line connects Ekibastuz and Shu regions. “The projects like North-South line will be realized in the different regions of Kazakhstan by 2015. They are: power transmission lines, large and middle hydroelectric power stations”, Mr. Bozumbayev said.
