Republican budget for 2009-2011 to be based on new principles: Kazakh PM
ASTANA. July 16. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ The Government of Kazakhstan plans to switch to three-year republican budget planning soon, Kazinform reports.
Prime Minister of the country Karim Massimov made it public within the framework of the regular telephone conference on Monday.
“Starting with 2009, budget planning system in Kazakhstan will be based on new principles. We suggest drawing up three-year budget, i.e. republican budget for the years of 2009, 2010, 2011. Besides, we intend to submit the draft budget for 2009-2011 in the first half of the year”, the head of the Kazakh Government said. The akims (mayors) will be informed of the new principles of the budget.
