KAZINFORM /Aigul Turysbekova/ - Idea of creation of a geologic consortium in Kazakhstan was approved by the Kazakh leader during his visit to Almatyda zhasalgan-2007 exhibition in Almaty city on August 3; Kazinform reports. Director of the Satpayev Geology Institute Bolat Rakishev informed the President of Kazakhstan of the necessity to search new deposits of natural resources. “It is known that “easy discovered” fields are exhausted all over the world, and Kazakhstan is no exception. Thus it is important to define a new strategy and concept of new deposits’ search. The consortium will unite national holdings Samruk, Samgau, subsurface users, and second-tier banks in the quality of investors”, he noted. “In order to enter into the 50 most competitive countries of the world we should preserve and multiply reserves of natural resources of Kazakhstan”, Mr. Rakishev emphasized.
