August inflation made 0.7 %
Almaty. September 3. Kazakhstan Today - In Kazakhstan, in August, 2007 inflation made 0.7 %, from the beginning of the year - 6.3 %, the Statistics Agency informed.
In the market of food for the last month the prices for eggs grew by 5.5 %, flour - by 5.3 %, bread - by 4.5 %, pasta - by 1.1 %, sugar - by 1.9 %. The increase of the prices for meat and meat products made 1.7 %, horse meat - 2.9 %, beef - 2.3 %, poultry - 2.2 %, mutton - 1.4 %, pork - 1.1 %, sausage products - 0.9 %. The prices for dairy products increased by 1.3 % (kefir - by 2.2 %, sour cream - by 1.8 %, cottage cheese - by 1.7 %, fresh milk - by 1.1 %). The price for fruit decreased by 1.1 %, fresh vegetables - by 4.6 %, potato - by 7.4 %.
In the group of non-food products prices increased for gasoline - by 2.1 %, stationary - by 1.9 %. The increase of prices for construction materials, washing and cleaning stuff made 0.7 %, clothes and footwear, household goods, medical products - by 0.5 %, books and newspapers - 0.4 %, goods of personal hygiene - 0.3 %.
Prices and tariffs for housing-and-municipal services have risen by 0.5 %. Tariffs for garbage collection have grown by 7.4 %, housing maintenance - by 1.7 %, housing repair - by 2.1 %, gas supply - by 0.6 %, sewerage - by 0.4 %. Services of public health services have risen by 1 %, culture - 0.5 %, children's preschool - by 0.4 %, passenger transport - by 0.8 %.
