Wimm-Bill-Dann interested in dairy assets in Belarus and Kazakhstan
MOSCOW. September 5. KAZINFORM. Wimm-Bill-Dann Foods is interested in dairy assets in Belarus and Kazakhstan, the company's CEO Tony Maher told analysts at a phone conference discussing WBD US GAAP results.
WBD is also interested in purchasing dairy facilities in Russia and other members of the CIS. Maher also confirmed the company's plans to boost its revenue in the baby food segment to $400m by 2010, up from $117m in 2006. In H1 2007, revenue from baby food sales rose 40.7 percent to USD77.3m, with the gross margin at 45.3 percent.
