Kazakhstan can export more than 10 million tons of grain in 2007
Astana. October 2. Kazakhstan Today - The Agriculture Minister considers that Kazakhstan should export at least 10 million tons of grain this year, the agency reports.
"This year, probably, there will be more than 9 million tons. We, in Kazakhstan, need - 9 million tons, harvested 22 million tons. I think that minimum 10 million should be exported," Agriculture Minister Akhmetzhan Esimov said at the government meeting on Tuesday.
He noted that crop of current year is a record. "This year we have harvested 22 million tons. It has never taken place before, it is by 4 million tons more than in record years," A. Esimov noted.
