Kazakhstan Today - The Asian energy strategy assumes creation of the uniform Asian stock exchange of energy resources, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation Nurtay Abykayev informed on October 24 in the report - Energy dialogue in CIS within the limits of the Moscow international energy week - Moscow energy dialogue, speaking about the initiative of the Kazakhstan President N. Nazarbayev on development of the Asian energy strategy, the press release of the press service of the Kazakhstan embassy in the Russian Federation states. "The document is based, first of all, on economic interests of the states and the principle of minimization of political component. The strategy assumes creation in the long term the uniform Asian oil-and-gas stock exchange of energy resources, stage-by-stage integration of the SCO member states in world energy space," the Kazakhstan ambassador noted. The chairman of the diplomatic mission emphasized that the rate for consolidation, increase of the role of the SCO in the decision-making of the problems of global power safety belong to long-term priorities of foreign policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan," the press service of the embassy informs. The program of the Moscow international power week organized under the aegis of the Ministry of Industry and Energy of Russia with participation of the Commercial and Industrial chamber of Russia and the Russian Academy of Sciences includes business meetings of official and business-circles of Russia and foreign countries concerning energy effectiveness and energy security and introductions of innovative technologies.
