Kazakhstan occupies 61 place in rating of economy competitiveness
Almaty. November 5. Kazakhstan Today - The independent international organization World Economic Forum published the annual report on global competitiveness in 2007-2008 (The Global Competitiveness Report 2007-2008), according to which Kazakhstan in the world rating of competitiveness of economy occupies 61 place, the agency reports.
The current condition of the Russian economy is estimated at the level of the 58th position in the rating. Uzbekistan is on the 62nd, Azerbaijan - 66, Tajikistan - 117, Kyrgyzstan - 119.
The United States America occupies the first place in the rating among 131 countries. Ten the most competitive countries are Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Finland, Singapore, Japan, the Great Britain and the Netherlands. The world economic forum is an independent organization, which headquarters is located in Geneva. Its overall objective proclaims improvement of condition of the world.
