Kazakhstan Today - The Ministry of Environmental Protection of Kazakhstan will demand suspension of the activity of Agip КСО if by November 22 ecological infringements will not be eliminated. The Environmental Protection Ministry Nurlan Iskakov stated on Tuesday during exit session of Majilis of ecology and wildlife supervisory committee. He reminded that earlier Environmental Protection Ministry suspended permit to operation on development of Kashagan - Agip КСО deposit for three months due to non-observance of the ecological legislation of the country. The Minister specified that the interdiction will come to the end on November, 22. "If by this moment there will be no consensus on our issue, according to the Ecological code, we reserve the right to itself in the judicial order to suspend any emissions of this enterprise," the Minister stated. "The enterprise will stop completely," N. Iskakov added. "Now they can work, having paid the tenfold penalty," he concluded.
