Rates of development of national economy to make 5 - 7 % - PM

Astana. November 13. Kazakhstan Today - Rates of development of the national economy in 2008 will remain high enough and will make not less than 5 - 7 %. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov said at the government session, the agency reports. "In the conditions of instability in the world financial markets the government of Kazakhstan is assured that rates of development of the national economy in 2008 will remain at high level. According to the government, rates of growth of the economy in 2008 will make not less than 5 - 7 %," K. Masimov said. Keeping high prices for the basic export goods of Kazakhstan, such as oil, metals, wheat will promote high economic growth of the country. "Dynamical development of export-oriented sectors of the economy will support other sectors of economy and development of small and medium enterprises," the Prime Minister considers. "Parameters of economic development in 2007 demonstrate strong positions of Kazakhstan: for 9 months of 2007 real growth of GDP has made 109.7 %," the Prime Minister concluded.
