Kazakhstan government reforms structure of 6 ministries and departments

Astana. November 14. Kazakhstan Today - The government of Kazakhstan is reforming the structure of six ministries and departments. The decision was accepted at the government session on Tuesday, the agency reports. It was suggested to reform the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Emergency, the Ministry of Environment Protection, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection and Land Management Agency. "Our proposals will lead to liquidation of 72 territorial divisions of central agencies and their departments and 16 agencies financed from local budgets with corresponding reduction of their number," vice premier Umirzak Shukeev explained, announcing the proposals, having added that the proposals have been introduced within the limits of the carried out administrative reform.
